"Big Mac" Drone
The "Big Mac" drone program provides firefighters with critical situational awareness that assists in the most effective tactics and response.
Fire Boat San Rafael
Docked at Loch Lomand Marina, rescue boat San Rafael enables marine rescue operations along San Rafael's coastline.
Boot Stipend
Firefighter boots are an essential part of their equipment. The SR Fire Foundation has created a $30,000 fund to supplement City funding to ensure our teams have the highest quality U.S. manufactured boots on the market.
Kitchen Groceries
Since our firefighter/paramedic teams pay for their daily meals and the fire station kitchen staples themselves, the foundation has previously supported the delivery of groceries to fire stations throughout the city to supplement the “house fund.”
Helmet Shields
Firefighter helmet shields are important for identification and protection, and provide additional safety against heat and debris during emergencies. New helmet shields were provided to the SRFD by the Fire Foundation.
Class A Uniforms
The foundation provides a Class A uniform reimbursement stipend to new and promoted staff.
